Lying liars

I've realized one of the reasons I like my FWB, L, is that he's never lied to me. Ah, well. To find a guy who is interested and not a lying liar is apparently one of those Herculean tasks.

One guy who was showing interest obviously forgot what lie he told who. Oh, well. I wonder how many people he was playing.

Seriously, laughing at myself.

I have a friend who told me to date women. If I was interested in women that way, I would. But I don't, so I'm stuck with the lying liars.

N got his second shot! He's fully vaccinated and in 2 weeks will be I don't know, as immune as he can get?

They are starting to ask for volunteers to go into the office once or twice a week. This shall be interesting.

was it FWB who lied or another guy? I can't keep track of your lovelife.

How did the vaccination go for your son? I hope he doesn't get too many side effects. My daughter should have her first shot this month since the Pfizer was authorized for teens starting June 15th.

Your "FWB, L" sounds like a damn good guy and the making of a damn good friend, as well. In today's reality it is so hard to find friends who are trustworthy when you only see each other sporadically... because this damn pandemic has succeeded in creating such massive isolation. And that ain't good for nobody.

YAY! for N's second shot! The only members of my family who still need vaccination are the ones for whom it hasn't been approved yet... except for my daughter because she had a flu shot one year and was sick as all get out. I still haven't be able to convince her that getting the vac is still a good idea. However, in her defense there were tons of folks where her husband worked who were diagnosed with covid in March or April of last year and hubby and she got sick a couple of weeks later. But there was no testing for covid that was any good, so they acted "as if" and if their son got it, it was very mild.

They are starting to ask for volunteers to go into the office once or twice a week. This shall be interesting. Well... are you gonna or not?

He is. And I appreciate him.

I volunteered, but I asked if they could possibly wait to put me in rotation until N is past his 2 week threshold and has all the vaccine power possible.

If your daughter gets Moderna or Pfizer there is no dead vaccine there. Although one of my nieces got deathly ill for about 6 hours after her second shot. Then she was fine.

My daughter does not understand the least bit about vaccines and she is not interested in listening to her scientist mama... "Thank you very much."

I still love her to pieces, and she does get her son's vaccinations done on time. It's just not her thing for herself.
